Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic singer, composer and performer. He combines soul gospel jazz with R&B to create a unique blend. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway as well as in the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine has the name Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing the piano and singing at church. The musical journey began for her in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. Sunshine was at the center of attention for the nation during daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be invited to sing for President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
